Haunt worked with Te Papa to rebuild their website using modern web technology — part of a wider trend among organisations to decouple their CMS from their "front end", unlocking benefits for their audiences and their web team.
Work
Check out some of our recent work.
Lite n' Easy
Working with our buddies Hardhat, we've built this site from the ground up for their client Lite n Easy, a meal box delivery service in Australia. This is an example of a large and highly functional Jamstack site, and is built using Storyblok as the CMS.
Ground Rules
Ground Rules gives New Zealand's farmers and growers access to plain-language versions of the rules and regulations relevant to their specific sector and location. This initiative, funded by the Ministry for Primary Industries, is part of their wider efforts to support and grow New Zealand's primary sectors.
Asia New Zealand Foundation
We moved Asia New Zealand's website from Silverstripe to Jamstack/DatoCMS, mitigating legacy platform issues and ensuring they had a website to support their important and dynamic content.
Beervana
We built this funky website (based on some really cool creative by Cato Brand Partners) for New Zealand's single most important event of any kind - Beervana. The site takes replaces the Beervana app, retaining important event-based functionality. Watch your fave beers climb the leaderboard!
Plan Partners
With creative by our production partner versa.agency Haunt provided back end development on the Plan Partners Drupal website.
Victoria University Open Day
Created by Hardhat (Melbourne) and developed by Haunt in time for VU’s open day during one of Victoria’s many lockdowns. The web app, which included 360 degree video, allowed prospective students to immerse themselves in the university, explore areas of study, and more.
12 Balmoral Walk
12 Balmoral Walk is a real estate development on Melbourne's coastline at Frankston. Based on designs supplied by our client, Vicinity Centres, we built this in our headless/decoupled web architecture using DatoCMS.
Cooking with Lily
In collaboration with our Australian-based partner Hardhat, we created the ultimate website for Cooking with Lily. This website demonstrates the implementation of a mobile-first design (designed for use at the supermarket) using Jamstack, with some cool personalisation, interactivity and progressive web functionality.
Teaching for the Asia Pacific
Working with our client, the Centres for Asia Pacific Excellence, we developed the strategy for, and then built a website to support teaching about the Asia Pacific region.
Ministry for Primary Industries
Our long-term relationship with MPI and their flagship website has included upgrading their site to the latest version of the Common Web Platform, and applying great designs by Gusto Design to update the site’s look and feel and useability.
Coastguard New Zealand
Working with AKQA's New Zealand studio we developed a mobile application for Coastguard New Zealand to take the pressure off Coastguard’s manual trip reporting processes (which receives more than 250,000 trip reports a year).
Built using React Native, the app was downloaded 4,500 times in the first three weeks and was a finalist for a prestigious design award.
